Ive been flying planes for a while and thought i would give helis a shot. Im a member of an electric only flying club so gas is kinda out of the picture unless i joined another club. I was looking at either the Blade CP or the T-Rex CDE (eCCPM). I have a JR 6102 radio so that would not be an issue with the T-Rex. My question is what would be better to start with. I know the T-Rex is a better performing machine. I just wanted to get some input. Thanks a lot

Second vote for the Trex. It'll cost you a little more to get started but will be worth it. My Trex is great because its basically a scaled down version of my 30/50 size machines and is capable of performing the same maneuvers they can.. not saying that I can pull off the maneuvers They're impressive in the hands of a good pilot.

Well I have TRex as well so I'd recommend it BUT, you will be paying more than twice as much by the time you purchase everything.

Got Money? Send it to me, I'm a Heli Addict.

Which One?????

If you are looking for something to fly outside on a regular basis the T-rex is the one...
Not that the CP will not fly outside, but the rex is the unit with the power to pretty much fly in most normal wind conditions....
If you want to fly around in your house the CP wins.....
Good Luck.....

i couldnt get the feel of the blade heli, so i got a trex 450xl. it flys like a dream. i normally fly a raptor nitro heli, but i must say that trex is really nice, and the way i would tell anyone to go! later, brian

One of my friends has a Trex along with a few nitro machines (30,50 &90s) I got to watch him fly his Trex over Turkey Day weekend it was like watching him fly a big nitro machine from a far w/o the smoke. Smooth as a baby's butt, not that I'm into baby butts.
The Trex will take you far
