Just thought I'd ask before I order one from Century. I am in need of the support peice that slides on the rear of the batter support tray that the boom support struts attach to. I would have to order the whole battery support tray to get it from Century. It's only 5.95 plus shipping, but I hate to end up spending 10 bucks for just this part. Thought if anyone had one not in use anymore.

Thanks, jjp

Hi there jjp, you dont need boom supports or the fin, v3 will fly and crash fine without them (just incase your replacing it because the boom support mounts snapped off (like they do))

Warning...This hobby is very addictive and may damage your wealth

There are actually 3 parts connected to the piece of part he is looking for. The struts for the battery holder, the struts for the skids and the struts for the boom support. From the picture of his V3 in his gallery looks like he no longer uses the boom supports. He also has upgraded struts for his landing skids. I think he needs the piece to hold the struts for his battery holder.

I would fabricate some mount to hold the battery holder on that custom landing gear struts.

I can go home and check if I have that piece laying around somewhere. The only thing is I only have it used and it should be for a V1 or V2 (they used the same part) but not the V3. Send me a Email or PM with your Email address so I can send you a picture of the part I got. Also tell me how much you are willing to pay for it. If I find one I can put it in the mail tomorrow.

3D Pro? I have only "1D" under my belt, what am I going to do with "3D"?

I forgot. If you want to install the boom support struts on the part that I have, they won't work. The V3 uses a skinnier boom support struts when compared to V1 and V2.

jjp735i, if you are still looking for that battery holder strut, here I found a used one for V3. It still has the boom supports glued to it. I take $2 for it.

Thanks for looking, After digging through all my old parts I found one from my old V3 , just like the one you have. I figured I had thrown all that out.

Thanks, jjp
