Maybe I'm bad at reading instructions, but I've noticed there's no mention about balancing a chopper, I've balanced the predator by holding it by the fly bar and a bubble level on the boom. I always have it level or a bit nose heavy by adding a bit off weight to the nose. Is this right? or don't you worry if it's nose or tail heavy.
And another thing (in Australia) a mate of mine uses Camper fuel (shellite) in his Predator and it's fine so when I built mine I did the same would not even fire (nearly wore out the pull start! ) put in unleaded and away she went, tried it again after I run it in and same thing happened again would not even fire, any clues?

Cant help ya with the fuel thing.!!!

I do the CG on my choppers....thus.....with blades open...take hold of the blade grips...and lift the machine so its on its side.......then the body will either swing tail heavy or nose heavy or..........balance.......
my personal preference.....is a little nose heavy.....why.......i duno
but i think its best. stops the machine ballooning in FFF.......this is only my findings..........not fact....but then again who knows.

I am not saying your doing the cg on your heli wrong........just giving you another option to try.

good luck.

I also keep it at the bladeholders (vertical) in front of me.
Then the heavy part of the helicopter, nose ore tail will show and lowers.
Look for the nose to go down, this will let you know it is more heavy in the front.

One thing more, about the fuel,
Can't explain why, try and remember were the L needle is and lean it 1/8 to 1/4.
Won't this work try the opposit and richen it.
This is what I should do.
I've always run on Alkhyd fuel called Aspen from Husquefarna.
This never gave me any problems, I also have an extra 260 (plank) with a Zenoah 62 where the former owner fuelled plain gas.
Let us know what you'll find what causes this!
Eric.
