I was flying Saturday, and there was abit of snow on the ground. I didn't think anything of it. I hovered around a bit and landed a few times. I noticed the tail has slid forward and needed adjustment (little clicky sound). I shut it off and adjusted then tried to restart. The motor wouldn't start (tried a couple times but wouldn't stay more than 1/10 of a second). I noticed some fuel leaking out from under the head. I haven't read anything about people warping the head before. I took it apart and I can see by one of the screw holes where it looks like it wasn't sealing and there was blowby. I put my palm on the cylinder (with the head off) and could feel good compression there but it wasn't worth anything with the head on which is why I think the heads warped. Any suggestions??

make sure...

the head bolts are tight...sounds like they might be loose.

I put the head on without the shim, and tightened the bolts pretty good and it didn't have much compression. I'm going to stone the shim a little and flip it over then try it. I'll post the pics up a little.

I stoned off the surfaces abit and flipped the shim over, retightened everything down and I have compression. I flipped it a couple times with the glow igniter on by hand holding the engine and it had enough fumes in it to pop a couple times so I'll finish putting it back together tommorow (Scared the heck out of my kid who was watching).
