Do yourself a favor, find a construction pic for your new grips, follow it.
If the new ARE different from the old ones find out why, when satisfied, replace both old grips whith the new. What grips did you get and from where? So we might be of some help.

I wish I knew where to find out about the blade grip. I would go to the place I bought it at and ask them, but thats all the way on the other side of the world. And its not like E-Flite actually has a r/c helicopter website. *Sigh* I just took my blade out for a little bit of hovering and the heli is a little shaky, and thats with the training gear on. When I start it up without the training gear the thing has like a mind of its own and starts shaking all over the place It definintly has to do with the blade grip.

Is it possible you have a spacer for the three bearing grip and have only two bearings ?

This would leave the space of a bearing for the parts to rattle around within,,,,,,,

I see what you mean mark...but the problem is that I can't fit the bearing into the slot.

...i couldn't get the bearings to fit in my blade grips either - i just took an xacto knife & trimmed away a very slight amount of material from the edge of the hole...

Hey gary...what order did you put the washers in? I just trimmed the sides down with a knife and the bearing fits now. Thanks for that part.

...my Blade has only 2 bearings in each blade grip - i followed the diagram previously mentioned here & altered the assembly order - this helped the sticky collective to some degree - i probably still need to upgrade to the 3 bearing setup...

...here is the link to the excellent post by Boyd-Hoverup that explains the problem and illustrates the fix (at least it worked for me on my 2 bearing blade grips)...
