has any one out there had trouble with the main gear rubbing on the frame seem like mine is rubbing on the top and a little on the bottom nothing seem to be loose no play that i can fine . notice some white dust on side frame .and that when i found it i've also been having problems with tail wag. I think this could be the cause ? also found after looking it over that the shalf was walking thru the rear tail drive gear another cause already had to replace the rear slider because the bearing kept comming off. it a stock v2 this has been one big pain right out of the box

If the gear is not square with the main shaft its probably cause you have a bent mast. I had a similar ploblen and ran it a low speed and yo could see the main gear wobling. I shanged the mast and now the gear sits firm at the bottom of the slot. There is always some free play but thats good beacue it allows the gear teeth to aling.

The helicopter symbolizes the victory of ingenuity over common sense

It is normal for the main gear to rub on the frame, After a while it will go away and it will be fine.

MIKI

If its not scale I ain't flying it, unless its a TREX

Thats an old problem, easilty solved with an exacto knife or dremel, just shave a little away on the rub points, problem solved.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

if you really wanted to,u could pull out main gear, and push it slightly lower onto the 1 way bearing,as it is a push fit...i would shim under the gear,so as not to push it to far down, were it would rub the bottom of the frame....

yes,i understand that m8,but if you change your gear,it may ride on bottom of frame next time, then,u hack off the bottom...if you just reposition the gear on the 1 way,you never have to hack on the frame, but,i was just offering another solution, isnt that what were here for?
