has nothing to do with helis or do I miss something?
If not, why is it posted here, it should be in off-topics?

Over here, on this side of the pond, we have a thing we observe once a year called "Veterans Day".

Off-topic or not, being from the Netherlands, you should recognize the importance of said message.

A number of years ago, while visiting the Neatherlands, I was greeted by an elderly couple and hugged. Their comment was "We'll never forget what you did for us in the war" brought tears to my eye. WWII was my Father's war, and he fought and bled there so that others might be free.

That freedom lets us enjoy our lifestyles and hobbies. Yes, this posting might have been better placed in "Off Topic", but any one that served, or had a family member serve anywhere in the world in the name of freedom will understand and appreciate that song.

I challenge anyone to walk the wall in Washington DC and end it with a dry eye. All too many of us have a friend of loved one listed on that wall.

A couple years ago I spent the better part of a year in Germany and on the weekends would venture out into the Netherlands....

I was always treated with the the upmost respect. It was amazing how friendly everyone was once you got beyond Amsterdam centre city.

The best part was hanging out with a bunch of Hell's Angels in Harlingen. Over here I'd been tar and feathered.

So maybe pasman lives in Centre City?

OK so this is about veterans day? Sorry that I offended, the video nor the text here gave not a clue about the contents.
In the Netherlands Veteran day is on 5th of May.

No I don't live in THE city center (assuming you mean Amsterdam).
My posts have nothing to do with respect, I just do not see why that video was posted here.

Same thing here as well. I really loved that part of Europe. I actually went there to trace my grandfathers footsteps as he fought in the Battle of the Bulge among many others. Seeing the graveyards (American and German) makes you really thankful what our fathers and grandfathers sacrificed. On that note though.. I was in the military as well and I was over in the middle east for Iraqi freedom and that wasn't a very pleasant experience at all.
