Has anyone flown a Raptor 50 with a 30 boom and blade? did it over speed the blades and how did it behave in flight .

Lotsa people do it, actually.

Change the gear ratio and throw a governor on it. Then, next time you twist up the heli, just finish the conversion with the longer boom, belt and blades....and whatever else you tore up!

EDIT: If you start with the R50 gearing - leave it alone, that's what you want.

It has the 50 gear ratio, I would like to know how it flies with a shorter boom and say 55cm - 58cm blades

It'll fly like an overpowered 30. Auto's won't be as great as flying with 600's, but that's to be expected.

Good luck bogging it down!
