I agree with Gary, there are no good 91 engines available right now.
I would just as soon buy a used YS91 and rebuild it. DOUG

The ys50 is on the main page of yamada's japanese website. Also there are rumours that kyoso and hirobo are sucking up big time to get these engines to bundle with their kits.

I talked to our supplier the other day and ordered 4 YS 50's from them. They said it should be here the begining of January? Fingers crossed guys, hopefully they will produce the goods when they say.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

91STs

Spoke to Performance Specialties and Dave says some 91s are due next week, before Christmas. I would bet they are all already spoken for but if I needed one, I'd get it on order NOW just in case.

Hi, All

Can anyone actually tell me how the YS50 compared to a OS 50 SX-H? I currently have a OS 50 in my Sceadu and thinking to upgrade to a YS50 since I am going to Japan next week. Any review on the YS50 available? Also for the 91, they sell the YS 91ST-R in Japan. Is that the same as the 91-ST4 here?

I think the YS91 ST-R is the red head with flight mixture control, where the ST4 is the normal one
