19lbs of $5k turbine heli plopped down a few inches from a bush... who says you can't fly a turbine in your garden? I think the turbines are about the most awe inducing power system ... it certainly gets people's attention.

OK folks, we appear to be back on line. Wrote a snotty letter to Tiscali which seems to have worked. Let's see if we can get them to throw the switch again.
Here's that link again: http://website.lineone.net/~sarrac/Wren-Pred/
Can someone please test the connection and confirm if it is working.

Someone reported from another forum that it was working. Sorry, I'll have to get on to them again.

We've had some cracking weather heli3d, you need to get your video up, as interest is this post is starting to fade now.
Even some video of your machine in the air would be cool, it doesn’t have to be doing anything wild, would just be good to see it.
I've just put some 800cm blades on mine, that's up from 710cm and bloody hell, even at 120,000 on the Wren turbine the climb rate is completely mental now!!
It's actually a bit too frisky for me, so I am rating down the pitch curves a bit.
However it hasn't stopped me from ordering 860cm blades for more lift still!!!
Will post new video when my new big blades arrive

3d,

You took on this challenge:
1. Must be no more than 2 mins long.
2. Must show start-up and shutdown sequence.
3. Must be in front garden or other confined area.
4. Must be in 1 take un-cut, real time.
5. Must get a shot of the pilot at the end.

Where's the movie?????
