If everyone can list whats packs they use in their trex, the size weight, and discharge, and what you think of them that would be great. Also, mention if they get hot.

Kokams;
Polyquest;
TP;
Align;

etc

I am using duelsky (modelflight.com.au) packs at the moment
both 1700 and 2250 3s packs and i am very happy. I have used the KOK 2000 as well and they are also good. I know of guys using polyquest 1800xps with great success. At the end of the day it comes down to what you can get at the right price.
Most of the current packs will work well. The only packs that i know of that have issues is the 20c align packs. They work great for the first 10-15 cycles then die off.

we can never have too many, can we ?

thanks for the reply, if we can get a whole thread happening, so we can find the best value for money packs that would be great.

Polyquest 1500mah XP 4s Work really well, stay cool, 8 mins insane 3d flight, they weigh 155 grams. 20c. Very happy with them.

kokam 2000mah 3s 15c, also very good, but pricey

Polyquest 1800mah 3s, 12-16c, work ok, get a little on the hot side, but good cheap pack for the average user.
