I have the Venture 50 and I am running into a problem with a tailslide that I never had with the same gyro set up on this helis predecessor.
The basic maneuver is medium speed straight and level up-right then up elevator to go vertical. This is followed by a tailslide into an inverted 180 deg tight loop (outside loop). This worked great with my GPH 346 , however, now at the bootom of the loop, the venture 50 yaws uncontrollably as if the gyro fails to hold the tail in backwards flight.
Gyro is the GY501, tail blades are 50-60 size and rpm is good (1800 mains). Gyro seems to work fine in foreward flight. It held very well doing this maneuver on my other ship with a similar setup so I know the GYRO can handle this maneuver.
Any ideas would be a great help because I am beggining to pine for my discontinued GPH 346 that flew so well for such an outdated, worn but very solid machine.
