Hi all

I have a rappy 50 that has been flying great for about 6 months. The tail rotor guids seem to have become worn, allowing for a little side to side slop in the guids. Is this a problem or do I need to replace these guides?

My problem was the main frame guides. I swear could hear the pushrods vibrating while flying. I put on a tail servo and it is smoother now.

The only thing that I don't like about the tail mount servo is that it sits out there in the open where all that fuel can get to it.

If you are just hovering I would say there there is more oil yes but now I hardly see any oil on the tail boom anymore. Plus the better servos they say are water resistant. And as this heli oil seems VERY heavy I doubt if any is getting inside. So it's all cosmetic anyways I feel. Nothing a quick wipe won't cure. Thing to do is ask people who have replaced alot of gears if they notice anything besides gear grease inside the case when they repair the servos. Could be an interesting thread. One I haven't seen yet.
