I'm using a carbon pushrod from Mr. Carbon with one guide in the middle. Just be sure to put a piece of heatshrink over the rod where it passes through the guide. I used the stuff from Miniature Aircraft, but Hirobo now uses it on the Freya EVO. If you don't, the guide will wear out the rod quickly.

#0412-190 should fit your EVO perfectly.
Not sure where to get in the UK, but my guess is that Skyline, Midland etc has it in stock.

Rapper,

NHP make carbon rod suitable for pushrods. If you need to replace one, just heat the rod ends with a small gas flame to melt the epoxy glue, and pull off the rod. Epoxy rod ends onto new rod cut to length

You should be able to get some from any of the Birmingham shops and I have bought from Midland.

I used a left over rod from my FURY Expert on my EVO. I think it even flys like a FURY a little bit now. I used 1 of the guides in the middle to support it.

The MA links do fit Hirobo balls. I would run one guide in the middle. Just cut it to length and JB the rods.

The balls on the Xcell are smaller than the japanese heli's,the links will be a tight fit in the hirobo balls. I just drilled the hirobo link out a little so it would screw onto the threaded rod.

I know that a MA "grey" link will fit a Hirobo "ball" but the threaded rod has to be huge like 3mm so thats why you would use the threaded rod from the CF rod and JB it inside the rod. You guys know how it works. Should work fine.
