I have just built a JR GSR 260 (first day out) It has all new Futaba electrics, I am flying the same frequency , In the same private field as I have flown my Raptor 50 for 2 years with no radio problems, I experienced 4 big radio glitches before I called it a day, I tried re-routing the ariel wire the other side of the model but it was the same.
The symptyms are the same as when my ariel wire was severed inside the covering on my 50 due to a previous crash. Can anyone offer any posible reason for this, Thanks Nickwad

Are you using PCM? Gassers are known for radio glitches, but there is always a cause such as a loose part or some metal touching another part. Look for things that can rub together first then for broken things.
Do you have a shielded cover over the plug wire?

I am flying the GS and have had lockout problems, I run the aerial wire down the right side of the model run through a K+S aerial tube fixed to the skid braces as low as possible and then supported to the boom support via cable ties doubled back into the fuel tube, this keeps the aerial about 3 inches from the boom support and running down the opposite side of the heli to the HT coil, also route all wiring away from the coil and HT lead, as mentioned previously fit a supressed cap, John White sells them i also run a BMR 7A resistor plug.
