Not sure yet

Not sure yet, since the Hughes 500 has the tail on the left side and since I'm having a go at building a semi-scale thought i might as well try it.

No problem. mmmm I guess I have to hide it cause I cant fly 3D so I'll stick with the slow lumbering scale stuff

The geometry on the servo on the right in that pic is whacked, that can't be right.

Right Servo "Whacked"

I assume you talking about the angle of the linkage? The frame is set for either HS-50 or HS-55. I did have HS-55 installed but I really care for the fact that one was acting up right out of the box so I decided to install what I thought were better servos JR-241's, the problem as you can see is the linkage rod is in a hell of an angle. Like I said these are going to be the mechanics for the semi-scale Hughes 500 so I'm working on the set-up, I'll end up having to move the ball link on the back side of the servo arm which means the link rod will be more vertical but this also means that I need to cut part of the brace. Its a work in progress.

I didn't mean to sound critical, it's a beautiful frame and I knew that something had to be amiss. Should be a great project.

No Worries

No Worries
Criticism or noticing something that just doesn’t look right is a good thing, you never know what you might have missed when you get started on a project, so I welcome it along with any suggestions.
