Are you saying you *can't* spin the blade grips by hand, that the grips are bound up and won't turn easily?

I suggest getting longer blade grip bolts first thing for a better hold, but try pulling the grips away from the hub, they may have gotten shoved in tightly against the hub. I use tiny washers to give more space between the grips and hub.

You can look back at some of my other posts for more details. But I'll dig them up and link to them here in a moment.

I think this one post pretty well sums it up:

i took the rotor apart and put the longer bolts in.this took ages as the holes in hub were drilled at differant lenghts so the bolts had to be filed done bit by bit.now i can tighten fully with no binding.do i need to use any thread lock on the bolts for final assembly.all i have to now is find longer bolts for blades.this was a lot of time wasted on brand new part.
never buy this make again, still waiting from the maker to my reply asking for help.

Definitely use threadlock (green). I've thrown a grip 3 times from not using it.

Yeah, the Tail Rotor SE you just have to think of as a partial kit for having to rebuild it. They used off the shelf hardware which is either too long or too short, they went with too short. But oh well, I'd rather have to tinker with it than not have it at all.
