Hi

Please can someone help?

I have a eCCPM 450XL High Pro bird. I am using HS56's on the cyclic with the 4 bladed Hitec servo horns.

The manual clearly shows that on link L, the top rod fits to the inside, and outside on the lower. The same also applies to rods K.

I have just tried to fit rods L, but I have found that the lengths for these rods have to be different to each (ie bottom rod L has to be longer than top rod L) or I cannot connect the ball links.

Is this because the angle of the top rod is effectively creating a shorter distance to theT type control lever? Or is it due to the servo horn type?

Campbell,
There may be slight differences in the lengths of those rods. Important thing is that the servo output arms and the swashplate driver arms are parrallel to each other in the neutral position and not offsett. The entire assembly must operate freely with no binding.

Many thanks.

I have used the 2 armed servo horns and I am now OK.

New problem. I am correct to say that when the throttle is moved upwards, the swash should also move upwards?

I am using a Futabe FF9, should the swash type be Heli SR3 type?

Yes, when throttle/pitch is moved up, the swashplate should move up as well... you probably need to reverse the servos directions... I don't use that radio, so I can't help with the swash type....

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....

SR3 is the correct swash type for that radio.
