Silly question maybe. Does the Raptor 30 v2 come with a header tank? if not is it really necessary?

Is it better to get the 49bb version? becuase i want to get a kit but i cant seem to get a 49bb version kit. The only kits i cant find for the 30 v2 are 29bb the 49bb are all ARF's

any ideas?

Why cant they make womans perfume smell like Heli Fuel?

If it dosen't have a header get one. it allows a clunk to alwayts be in fuel so you will have less of a chance of air to the carb.

Get as many BBs as you can. Iti s the best way to go, even if you have to buy an upgrade.

If the option is 29BB Kit or 49BB ARF.....get the kit. Building is part of the fun with helis...

I started out with the 29BB...slowly upgraded to a full metal head...full option heli....all the options comes with BB anyway!

The Raptor 30 V2 does Not come with a header tank.

The 30 Kits come with 29 bearings. All you need to do is add to your order Part# TTRPV0091 which is the "49BB Upgrade Kit"( This upgrade kit has only 20 bearings, which brings your total to 49 ).

Good questions!

If you are a beginner I would get the kit for sure. Because it will turn itself back into a kit eventually no mater how good the pilot!!
As for ther bearings , if you are just hovering and learning basics, even loops and rolls etc you can get by with the bushings in the 29 bearings just fine. If you have to wait to get the bearings , order them anyway and when the heli get's damaged and it will eventually, put them in during the repair. Unless you are good enough to be able to tell the difference I wouldn't wait for the extra bearings. As far as a header tank goes,,yeah ,,it's nice to have especially for mild to wild 3D stuff but again if you are learning to hover on a Rappy 30 that's well tuned you will get 15 minutes pretty easy on a tank without a header tank. That's a very long time to hover.
Order the header tank along with the bearings but don't let that keep you from starting out if that is the case.

Headers confuse engine settings for new guys. I'm there myself, just about got control of the engine and went and installed a header tank after a crash. Spent the day trying to gain control of heat, exhaust smoke and mixture. Still not there.

I wrecked my main tank in a crash and thought i may as well upgrade the fuel syetem seeing as i'm replacing the tank and tubing, so i bought and installed a ukquick header.

Feeling that i'm going to be fighting the mixture for the next few flights, which means i'm not learning anything except mixture settings... perhaps not a bad thing, but I aint progressing with flying at the same time... six of one...

Rule of thumb... one step at a time...
