Can I use a electric screw driver instead of starter to start a OS32 engine? Is there any minimum rpm requirement to start a engine?

Some people (myself included) have used cordless drills to start, but I doubt a slow turning electric screwdriver will turn the engine over fast enough. Even flicking a prop by hand is momentarily faster.

I see that my electric screw driver can drive the engine around 250 - 300 rpm, is it fast enough?

the answere is YES! It will do just fine. most cordless drills have a high and a low and variable speed as well. If it is the smaller style screwdriver that fits in the hand it may be a little slow. My dewalt and or craftsman cordless drill does just fine and self contained. and you can use any 6mm hex allen wrench with the "L" part cut off.

WOS, doing your method is fine but I'd only do that if my start shaft has a one way bearing, not all machines do.
