I haven't seen any of quality.

I have some but the quality of the carbon is poor. The finish is inconsistant.

I'm just using the Trex simulated CF tail blades and they work very well.

I don't know what tail mods you have but if the tail is stock I wouldn't bother. The stock tail at least on the V1 has so much slop ,stiff CF tail blades would be like spending a crap load of money on tires and wheels and then putting them on a car with worn ball joints,,why bother except for that ugly word,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,bling

Hey Contact,,I don't know what you said but ,what I found with my Shogun V1 to work very well was a Sparrow aluminum driveshaft with I think the Micro heli tailpitch slider to get rid of the slop of the stock one.
The tail was more stable and I could crank up the gain on the gyro more. Throw on some Like90 woodies mains and she does great even in a good wind. I still doubt that carbon tail blades would make any difference but I could be wrong.

Hi Turboomni
I have an all Microheli tail except for the actual complete blade grips and hub. Got the tail case, slider, spindle and bellcrank.
I thought MS did carbon tail blades??

Hey Helkirk,
Was there a noticable improvement over the stock ones?

I didn't detect any performance gain. If you're looking for performance I'd consider the new micro digital servo HDS-877. I have one but have not installed it yet.

I'm running the HDS-877 in my Shogun with a GY401. I have delay set at 0 and put the gyro in digital mode.

I have to have the gain turned way down to get the hunting out. It's at 60 now and still has the tinyest bit of hunting. The tail is working great with it! My piro's are superfast both directions. It's almost scary. I actually need to slow it down a bit. I haven't tried backwards flight with it yet to see how the tail holds with the gain down so low.

The Carbon ones at Hobby People for the Shougun work great, and there are real carbon fiber.

Good one Cranium!
It's almost scary.
Glad you had good results with the HDS-877 - I was waiting for my analog tail servo to pack it in, but I think I'll change it now.

I have the hobby people carbon TB's and though they "look good". I see only a marginal improvement from the stock numbers.
