you need to consult an experienced heli pilot or a model shop, they will have to go over your heli and set it up to fly,you cannot do this yourself, simply by asking questions over the net.

bit of advice

steve it sounds like your not that familiar with the setup, i think its better you get a more experienced heli pilot to set it up for you, your local model shop should be able to give you all the help you need,

Hi,
Maybe I can help

If you are using Futaba -
Ch 1 = Aileron servo (Left side on the heli connecting the left side of swash)
Ch 2 = Elivator servo (Again Left side on the heli but connecting the front of the swash)
Ch 3 = Throttle (You already know)
Ch 4 = Gyro or Gyro's rudder (You already know)
Ch 5 = Gyro remote gain ( " )
Ch 6 = Pitch Servo (Right side on the heli connecting the right side of swash).

After you plug all the servos, you will have to check for the right throw on the servos ie:

1 when you apply pitch all servos should push the swash upwards.
- if not find the offending servo and revese the channel.

after you have done that,
2. when you apply aileron
- if it is left aileron the heli's left swash servo should push the swash up and at the same time right servo should pull the swash down.
- if not go to Swash Afr function on the tx and change the +50 to -50 for the aileron.

after you have done that,
3. Do the same step as 2 for the elevator. the only difference is when you apply front elevator, the servo connecting the front should pull the swash and the two sevos which are at the back should push the servo up.

May sound complicated - but very very easy when you get the hang of it. take your time.
