Thanks for the help! Top of the tank it is. I was trying to avoid having to take the whole bottom heli apart but it's really not a problem. I might be lucky to be able to loosen the heli's little tank holders without pulling the frames apart. I have a couple of ideas in mind but I will certainly ensure I do the right thing rather.

I assume the reason for wanting it at the top is mainly if that nipple is going to be used for exhaust pressure to make the fueling thing happen right? I mean seeing as the return line from the motor has a one way valve in it that one is not going to be influenced?

About the heli size well on that one there was no other options. I can't even afford a complete .30 at this point and a bunch of friends and sponsors helped me get this one together. And well since this was only going to be possible once for now to get me going in helicopters we all decided a .90 was the only way to go. And well that the Venture is definitely the best out of the box for a little 3D fun and F3C flying. And of course the price of the kit and running/crashing costs was a big factor. Either way a very long story to cover it all. I owe alot of people alot of thanks on this one. Another RR member is one of the biggest contributers but I unfortunately don't know hes nick. And of course the owner of Revo Hobbies here in SA is the other. Great guys!

Am I to understand correctly that you have not flown a heli before ? and you are also fairly skint ?
If so, I beg you to practice on a sim first. That 90 will cost you an arm and a leg when it goes down unless you are one of the few lucky bastards that is a complete and utter nautral at flying.

Crashing your 90 will cost at the very least £200
Reflex XTR is £125 and you can crash for free and become fully conversant with all orientations and 3D and blah-de-blah.

Please think about it.

Skint? Sorry I am Afrikaans speaking and although my english is fair I am not familier with that one.

Oh and not don't fear. I have about 8 flights on my buddy's little Airskipper .50 now. I haven't done anything impressive yet though as he can't buddy box me because he uses a JR 10X which doesn't have the option. I've just done some hovering, nose in and some inverted. Normal circuits, loops, rolls and then all the 4 flight directions ie inverted/inverted backwards/upright backwards circuits and eights. But nothing impressive. He just wanted to see if I will grow into heli flying like I have with the planes and learn to love it. I've kept to staying in control for now and don't do anything risky. Some flips and stationary rolls just for fun you know? Also I do all this at least 2 or 3 mistakes high.

I have also been stuck to my AFPD for more hours than I can ever count. And at the moment my little heli crash course involves 2 hours on the sim every day except for the freak whole night sessions over weekends and so on. Working on piro flips and piro loops at the moment but yes it's taking time. I have also now started practising the new F3C schedule on the sim as pattern is really my thing but the helis is a new learning experience for sure. Them darn 180' autos are tricky! Hahaha
