Grant,

Gotta love the greenies. They definately make flips, rolls and tight turns more exciting. I just hated the green color so I painted them. One coat of Krylon for plastic an viola! A new color is born. These blue paddles are actually the greenies painted blue. I did a set in black for one of my other Rappys.

Hey Bob..

Yup.. Got it put on.. cut down on the sloppiness alot but think the washout may need to be replaced.. Was looking at it today and there is quite a bit of play in it..

Grant, you've got a few choices when it comes to washouts. Here they are, in order of cheapness..

1) Use JB weld to tighten up your old washout. Described on Raptortechnique, and actually works pretty good.
Scroll down the page

2) Buy a new stock one, and replace as needed.

3) Upgrade for $15 from Quick-UK

GrantL,

I noticed that you used zip-ties to secure youe servo wires. I was informed that this is not a good proactice, as they do not allow much forgiveness in a mishap. This could possibly result in pulling wires from the servo's.
The suggestion was to use short velcro strips to secure the wires.

Hi Bob..

I think for now, I'm going to wait.. Though I like the metal upgrade..

Like we talked about, with my level of flying, it's not a problem for now but is going to have to be addressed..
