Has anyone actually had good luck with the CC governor modes? I tried it on my Piccolo Pro and my new Shogun and didn't like what I got. Response is slow and I can hear the RPMs changing. My H2 with the MS controller and twister NEVER does this. You set it to your throttle setting and it stays there throughout the flight (until the battery gets low of course). If you have a CC25 and a Himax 4200 on a shogun and are using governor mode, and is working well, please let me know and describe to me your setup.

the governor mode does not work well in any of my ehelis I use fix pitch mode and is been working good.

I have not had any luck with gov mode either. Are you guys using a flat curve in fixed throttle mode or are you setting up curve like a glow machine?

Always have favored gov mode over fixed throttle mode.
Castles new 1.13 Beta works great....no more complaints....even the LED works properly now.

so far works great with a align 2800SF motor, set it for 2200 and it holds, my throttle curve is like a flat 90%.

With a JGF 400DH it would not get passed 2000 rpm to save it's life.

I just set up my Shogun with a 400DH and CC25 with 1.14, and it seems to work fine in gov mode. Spoolup is a bit slow and erratic, but once it gets to speed, it appears to lock on no matter what I do with pitch, and speed changes coupled to flight mode are quick and lock right in. Using Gov-Hi with low endpoint at 115% and high at 100%, throttle value of about 65% gives good headspeed and just hits hi throttle on full collective. Oh, radio is a 10X . . . .
