Revlock & YS91

Not sure if this tropic should have been under the ”Radio” section…….but here it comes:

I’m no expert in tuning/setting up the Engine.
I have a Fury Extreme, Revlock, Throttleservo S9252, YS91, Hatori Sb16FH, Wildcat10%, gearing 8.18

I´m flying 1500 Rpm in Norm, 1650 in Idelup1 and 1800 in Idleup2.
I have make the “Throttleservo offset“ as described on the CSM homepage.

Revlock Responsibility is “9 o’clock” (aproxx. 20%)
In Norm. I have tailhunt – approx. 2 Swing per. Second.

Question 1:
What is responsibility set to on yours Revlock?

Question 2:
When making a Stallturn the Engine comes with a “poping” sound when doing the pirouette…… I will guess that is because of uncorrect engine setup ?
Or could it be because I have hold the throttlestick at a too low position when setting up the revlock?

my personal findings with the revlock is that ANY poor engine tuning will show up.
get the engine set up without the gov engaged when its spot on
then turn your attention to the revlock

the wagging you are getting will be tuning related

your engine needles are too rich for the Revlock.

you need to learn to tune the needles w/o the Revlock and
then you'll find that the Revlock will want them a little leaner.
