1- there is only one link length that will do. First make sure the bellcrank and the servo horn are parallel at neutral. Use subtrim for that. You should use the link length, on both sides, which will keep the parallel relationship. With the main mast vertically leveled, make sure that the bellcrank arm that goes to the swashplate is horizontal. Measure the level from the pivot screw to the ball link, and not the top of the arm, which is slanted in relation to the centre of the arm.
2- I only used one support on my pushrod. Since it is carbon, none is really necessary. I just figured it was really difficult to align two supports so that the pushrod would run free. Using one, in the middle of the pushrod, makes adjustment easier.
3- my main gear is locked in place. No play. Make sure you didn't miss any steps on the assembly, since this sounds fishy to me.
It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.
