Anybody know if i can use the remote facility on my Rev lock. I have the RD6000 Radio and dont appear to have any chanells left for remote activation of the rev lock.

Someone has suggested using a failsafe to drive the gyro (GY 401) and use the free chanel for the rev lock.

I dont understand how this is done, can anyone enlighten me and suggest what failsafe I would need.

I have set the rev lock in manual mode to 1750 head speed (compromise?) but have not tested it as the weather is not too good at the moment

I have a RD8000 with 8 channel receiver to use the 8th channel also used for the battery if needed you can use a Y splitter one to the battery other to the remote gain on Revlock

Well I see what you mean but I cant see how I would set it up to make the headspeed different as I have no controls on the TX for any more chanels (well I dont think I have!)

Unfortunatley mine is a RD6000 (about 6 0r 7 years old) it only has one switch on the left and one on the right.

If possible try the remote cable to channel 7 in the receiver
and try the lever on the right i assume is flaps { up-down } and see if lights on Revlock switch between A and B if so go thru the Revlock setup
