Ok, This event is just around the corner. June 10th-12th. I want to know who is attending. The Heliproz crew is coming again this year. How about "Team Porkchop"?

I will be there with the RV. Our first stop on the Dakota Tour for our family vacation this year is a Fun Fly, do I have a great wife or what? The next week after the fun fly is driving and camping in the Badlands.

I heard today that Andy maybe coming out.

Looking forward to the event.

I just received an email from Eric Larson that he will be attending on Saturday, doing some demo's for us on the new Stratus as well as be available for assistance.
Bling will be bringing the famous "Bling Wings" (actually I think his wife will be....)
Raptor 50 will be raffled as well as lots of door prizes.
Chicken wing feed for Friday night, concessions for lunch on Sat and Sun, dinner Sat night included in registration.
Come on over for a fantastic time and lots of great flying!!

I'm trying to talk the wife into going along. She was born in Bismark so I'm using that angle. However she went out the other day to watch me hover off my first gallon of fuel and I get the feeling she was relatively "underwhelmed". Maybe it's a guy thing.

Anyway, hopefully she will come along & maybe head up to Minot for the day or something. I think I need to win that raffle Raptor for the impending needed parts stash.

Cheers,

Paul

Camping at the fly-in

Is there a part of the field set aside for those camping out? Never been to this site so I'm wandering if it will be easy to spot too. :-) Can't hide too much in North Dakota with how FLAT everything is.

Hello Jeanette,
I'll have the signs up Thursday nite already, as soon as you get on the McDowell Dam road you will see the field at the top of the hill. There is area set aside for camping, sounds like we will have at least 6, probably closer to 10 campers. Give me a call if you have any problems finding it, (701)220-9591.

cheers,,

WX-BRIEF!

Well, I checked the weather channel online last night and almost canceled my camper reservation. Saturday was 50% chance of T-storms all day. Now, we're looking about 30% on Friday, 10% each on Saturday and Sunday. Think I'm still coming no matter what now. Gotta put a final charge on everything tomorrow!!!

Bjets: How do you like Preskitt??? My hubby and I both went to ERAU there. Loved the area!
