I've said it before...and here it goes again -

They need to put in an intersection at the Nascar races...240mph and able to fly through an intersection of others doing the same speed - now THAT TAKES SKILL!

Nascar is far more interesting than F1 because......

the same guy does not win every race for the last 4 years ?

When you watch that guy (and the team behind him) who "won every race for the last 4 years" come from 13th to 2nd like last race or dead last to win by nearly a minute in a sport where seconds are an eternity like 2 years ago at Malaysia, you get a new appreciation for a true master at work. And yes, there are dominante figures in other forms of racing also, but as Mr Montoya found out the "old farts" don't always just roll over, do they?

LMAO, true true, try world superbike or 500GP, that's physically demanding. Go Valentino Rossi!

If Nascar wants to add excitement to the races, I think the first guy to hit 250 laps at Talladega or Daytona should turn around and make right turns the rest of the race!

Haha, but that wouldn't work too well, their cars are setup for left hand turns only

And motorcycles = sexyness

Wouldn't World Superbike be so much more fun if at random corners, there was a guy with a waterhose spraying random riders?

NASCAR is the only form of racing besides WRC where the outcome of the race is determined for the most part on the track and not in the boardroom before the season even starts.

When was the last time Alanso has a 10th place car, decided to pit for 2 tires only and one turn down on the track bar, and went on to win the race? Besides Spa when does an F1 car corner at 170mph?

I will conceed that Daytona and Talledega are the stupidest events in motorsport since the Hanford device at Michigan no longer exists. I am talking about the other 32 races in the season.

Besides, cars lean the wrong way in corners (not that F1 cars lean at all)

Here's another vote for real racing! I don't watch Nascar, but I think F1 is so far removed from reality, you can't like it. I also think rally car racing drivers, pack a mean stool! That goes for Mr Make Believe up there in WA state.

I hope no one takes my race gibberish seriously. I enjoy almost all racing, therefore, I don't feel guilty when I poke fun at any of it.

Having said that, F1 and WSB are my faves.

Wouldn't World Rally be fun if you could add a few dead-ends to the course?

F1 is nowhere close to real life driving but thats not the point. Its still enjoyable to watch. World Rally is extreemly erotic, I only wish they would use the bumper cams more. You can hardly see anything from the cockpit cam.

WRC and WSB (or 600 SS) for me. Sorry, but I just can't get into NASCAR at all. Sure it probably takes more skill than I'm willing to admit it does, but good lord, left turns only? ZZZZZZZZZ

Say, if a NASCAR driver is chasing you, how do you escape? Turn right! Sorry, it's just too easy.
