Does anyone have a video or picture of an HP5 that has crashed? How about a video of any turbine heli crashing? I have already seen the 500 on augustaheli.com. Just curious to see somthing a little more dramatic.

Thanks
JKru

I have to finish putting it together before I can take it apart . Plus I cant afford a camera right now ;-)

Sorry to hear about your botched auto

So does anyone have any vid's or not? Stories would also be interesting.

Show me those figure 9's guys!

I have already experienced this and it was not fun!

Minimal damage to the heli but a world of mental abuse watching it come down like a rock!!!!

jkru,
I watched optikaman's and Alderman's and hope I never seen another one....that was damn near as bad as having your own.

Anybody notice that the dweeb at the end of the runway didn't have a camera (or, at least I didn't see one)? What in the f**k was that idiot doing in that position? And, had he decided to wave off that landing, the impact would have been about head high.

And, jkru, I ask again....have you taken your medication today?

look for the crash video at the bottom. Towards the end of the flight my tail rotor letgo, and i had to try and auto it in. At +30 lbs, the blades loaded up quickly. All that was damaged was trhe fuse, and a main shaft. All else survived.

Hey Wojtek - what's the status of your 230? Did you ever rebuild?

Oh my god. That made me feel sick. The pilot did a good job brining it in though.

Glad to hear that Alan. Both your accident and the one in the video above must of been heart breaking.

I'm very curious to know what's the cause of the vibration problem you've had. Please update this when you figure it out.
