Hey guys,

Recently bought a Futaba 7C. Bought the right crystal for my feather Rx and now its working. Just wondering what everyone's settings are to make my HB ver.1 fly more enjoyable.
Expo settings? Dual rates?
My throttle does not seem linear, is there an expo for throttle?

My mods:
GY240
3S lipo
Stock Hummingboard
Speed 300 motor
DD tail
Like90 blades

I'm not that experienced but I have the Futaba 7CHP. Maybe someone else will educate you and me where I go wrong. Here's what my settings are (and they work for me):

All CH, Expo settings to -20 (so the stick would be less sensitive around center).
Dual rates - 100%.
E. Point - set 100% >100%, except where binding occured. (CH 2)
Subtrim - +/- 0 (except to level swash and a little for hovering)
Not an expo for throttle
Linear Throttle CRV - 0,25,50,75,100 (Default)

With the GY240 your rudder should be solid, if adjusted properly.

Get all the enjoyment out of it quickly. Because your set-up looks just like mine on my Elite CP. The 3s Lipo kill my brushed main and tail motors in under a month. Its now brushless. But with my 3D Pro, I let my FP & CP hang in the ceiling!

Thanks RevGadget,

I'll try those initial settings.
Anyone else have any setup tips?
