Good Morning Folks,

Has anybody ever twistred the tail rotor belt more than 90 degrees by accident?

Last time I was home my belt was making a clicking sound by the 16t pulley. I put my hand on it and felt the vibration as it made the clicking sound. I have already used JB Weld on the rear pulley, in fact I hope some didn't squeeze through and end up on the pulley itself causing the belt to ride up on the pulley instead of the groove.......

Any suggestions?

I'd think that if you twisted the belt more than 90 degrees, and the TR still goes the right direction, that the belt would be all bound up on itself and not allow the thing to really turn at all.

It's not all that difficult to split the rear case on the TR and check the pulley.

OK I'll do that, when I get home, I'm just looking for suggestions, because I spent one day at home in the last month. And just a few days at home in the last three months. I am time poor, but that is about to change for a while!
