well, i burnt a 1/2 gallon and it's still in one piece, the landing gear are a little bent, i ordered tuffer ones....lol. i do have a question, i was adjusting the pitch and throttle curve in the radio and got it out of wack....now, it doesn't hover till 3/4 stick, and it is really wound up (high rotor speed), i never heard it scream like that, i don't think it's good for it.
any input would be appreciated

it sounds like you need to raise your pitch curves. as you are gettin a lot of head speed but no pitch to provide lift, this is what is causing the overrevving.

bring your pitch curve up and you should be hovering earlier and without the overrevving of the motor.
