Another prang today with the X3d, this time the tail just let go when i was just hovering. Same damage as usual main gear and main shaft. (must get to that hold quicker)

I think this was caused by the tail drive pinion (E118) starting to turn on the end of the tail drive shaft it slipped so badly the tail could not hold and so I lost it.

I had notice it coming loose before and had already cyano'd it on. so I have re glued it and its ok now however is there a more secure way to fit this so I dont get a repeat.

The shaft does have some light groves in the end but they are very faint and not to deep. perhaps I should try to make them deeper to grip the pinion more?

I use CA in that gear with good results. Try JB Weld if CA doesn't work.
