ez2bgman rrElite Veteran N'awlins, LA | I would like some advice from all you heli experts...I currently have a Raptor 50v2 with an OS 50SXH, GY401 w/ 9254, and all Jr DS811's for the rest. Since I built the Raptor, I have been contemplating on using my 9202's. I know they are a bit slower, but also have more holding power. The speed isn't that big of an issue because I am not at that level of flying to really notice it. I have only been flying helis for 2 months now. The main reason I am asking this is because my best friend just purchased a used Raptor 30v1 with standard servos. I am trying to decide if I want to use the 9202's for my heli or let him use them. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.Gary

Darksider rrKey Veteran Derby United Kingdom | if you go from a set of 811's to 9202's it wouldn't improve the flight characteristics at all, a much better jump would be from 811's to 9252's.Gareth

ez2bgman rrElite Veteran N'awlins, LA | I understand that it wouldn't improve the flight characteristics much, if any. I am just trying to decide which would be better to use. When I can get the $$$ together I plan on getting some 9252's.My main goal is to help out my best friend and let him use some better servos. I think the 9202's would help me out due to the responsiveness of my Raptor 50v2. I have about 30% expo dialed into both elevator and aileron cyclic and I think that the slightly slower 9202's may be what I need.Gary

WreckRman2 rrKey Veteran Orlando, FL | I use 9202's in my R50... they are a little slow but they work great. I am considering getting a faster servo for collective. As for the 811 or the 9202 I'd use the 9202's. They are coreless which means better holding power and centering.

AMainMaker rrKey Veteran Nappanee,IN | I would go wiht the 9202'a the 811s dont seem to fly the 50s very well. I had 811's in my 50 and i couldn't get enough cyclics out of it. Went to JR 8231s and wow big difference even though they are slower the torque made a huge difference. Now I am in process of upgrading my 90s servos and put the 8311's from my 90 in my 50 even more torque yet and a bit faster. Can't wait to try it out.

ez2bgman rrElite Veteran N'awlins, LA | Thanks for the replies guys.I told my best friend this evening to come get the 811's. I think the 9202's will my level of flying perfectly. With the slower response, I will be able to 0 my expo for the cyclic.Gary
