Yeh,

Neu 1105, 4s TP2000 pro lites on a 9T pinnon and a kontronic jazz 40-10-14 (i think thats the right number)...

So far its the best combo that ive seen, even after 10 mins of full on 3d the motor is just warm to the touch..

About what Headspeed are you running? Do you know of any other speed controller obtions or any seperate BEC's that will work with a CC 25.

Never tach'ed it but close to 2600 rpm... The guy who sells this setup say's that 100% on the esc with 4s/9T is ideal but i start getting scared at anything above 80% ! (see http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t174695p1/ for what i mean !)

Don't know about the CC25 but your getting near its voltage limit and would guess that a seperate ubec would add some weight.

Cheers,
Tris

I'm still a noob, so I just fly around the yard. I'm real happy with the Neu motor. Just warm after a flight. Neu, 4s-1320, 9t, CC35, and Medussa BEC. I'm getting about 11 mins of mild flying.

I would recomend going with a larger battery than the 1320..the performance gain with a larger battery really makes the 4s setup impressive.

I'm running the nue, 9 tooth,TP2000 pro lites 4s, cc 25 , ubec, ms 280 blades. I run 100% across the curve. The thing rips, at least 2600 to 2800 rpm, 7 to 10 mins of all out 3d. battery comes out just warm. The 1320 4s is ok, but the TP2000 4s pro lite is it.

I bought the TP 1320 before the 2000 was out. It only gets warm. There have been mixed results with this combination though. I might just be getting lucky.

http://www.medusaproducts.com/Other...R-BEC-35020.htm

(I bought the 5v one)

$25 and 12grams. It's worked great for me so far. Combined with a CC35, it's lighter than the Kontronik and half the price. Oh... buy the way... I think they charged me $0.85 for shipping.

The P25 is not enough unless your running a sbec and even then it's close. Don't waste money on the p35....waste it on the Jazz..where the governor mode actually works(please no firmware update info....been updating for years and it's never gotten better). The 1320 is not a bad setup, but some experience very hot temps and low flight times. Running the numbers, the bigger battery blows it away in regards to power. I just bought a 4s TP lite and am pretty disappointed. It is very lightweight, but my tanic 2220 at almost 55g's heavier execeds the performance of the TP 4s lites by a noticeable amount. I thought going light would make an improvement but it didn't. Good old 200g tanic 4s 2220's are my choice until a lighter but as powerful battery comes out.

I am not sure why some people experience hot battery when 4s-1320 are used. The point of going HV with 4s is to keep the current low so that lighter packs like 1320 can be used. If you go up to heavier packs then it kinda defeats the purpose.

For those with problems running 4s-1320, take some amp measurments and post the result here. I'll bet something is causing the motor to draw more amp than it needs.

the lb/watt numbers say going with a bigger battery is better....more powerful. I agree that it doesn't seem to make sense why heat would be a problem on the 4s 1320's but it seemed to be a common theme for awhile. Tp 1320 4s @ 114g and the Tp 2000 4s pro lite @ 155g don't have much difference weight wise between them. Take the canopy off the 2000 pro lite heli and it would be practically the same. An extra 680mah will surely perform better at the same weight right?

Extra 680mah will get you longer run time, with added benefit of decreased internal resistance which translates to less heat. Therefore the added weight is only benedicial if the larger pack allows for more amps to flow through, which the 2000 pro-lites are good at.

I was getting about 8 min on the 4s 1320 and the 9t pinion and the batt got a bit warm, warmer than I liked
then went back to the 3s 2100 and the 11t pinion, I get over 14 min with that, battery and motor not warm at all, the ship is a bit more nose heavy, and the head speed is slower, so it isnt as agile, but I am very happy with the motor in both setups. I opted for the longer flights.
