jlewis99 rrApprentice Houston, Texas - USA | I have a HS-50 on mine as do many many others. Works fine. Just be sure to use some tape on the sides of the servo as they tend to come apart pretty easily.

pavehawk00 rrNovice Las Vegas,NV | USE MPI servos. They are screwed like other servos and are faster. I do think that they are a great investment. Rchonver got them for like 23 bucks. I have crashed alot and it is still together. Just my two cents.I can't fly, but when I do, I fall like a rock

Coolpowered rrKey Veteran Youngstown, ohio | Never had a problem with the hs50, but like jlewis99 said either a drop of ca or tape the servo together so it dont come apart, bunch of us are using them.

![]() rrMaster Cedar Rapids, IA | I agree, HS 50 is fine for TR and they do like to come apart. The case bottom is held on by four small locating posts and snaps. The snaps don't work too well. I had one pop apart on the maiden voyage of my second Trex. Tape the case and fly.Dave

wildstallionuk rrKey Veteran ENGLAND, FOLKESTONE, KENT | I feel on my four cell set-up that the HS-50's are not up to the job sadly. I get the impression that the servo struggles with the torque of the high voltage set-up and I have had several failures resulting in a crash every time recently. If I try to climb real hard I know without any doubt I will loose the tailOn my Zoom running on 3 cells and smaller blades I have only every had one HS-50 failure almost resulting in a crash. I generally get to fly every day and have owned a Zoom and T-rex almost from when they were first released so that's plenty of time to asses the HS-50. I think I gonna use the HS-56 on the tail of my T-rex now at least and maybe the Zoom too. Its more robust and precise all though admitedly slower.Check out the items I have for sale in the clasifieds including a CSM 420

YeTun rrApprentice Asmara, Eritrea | I am using CC25 only. Never had cut off. I also bought Align 35A ESC. To me it seems too big. My favorite postion for ESC is right under the main gear fan inside the frame compared to side mount which looks too messy.
My first assembling put HS50 on the tail, I did not like it at all. It looks too weak for Trex. Immediately I put 6g Align Servo, it works well until now on my 450x.
I put HS56 on my V2 for tail. I like it better. The difference between HS56 and 6g Align is Align has a tendency to be weak around the end of a battery charge by showing a slower response (tail pitch movement gain latency and move, so on). May be I'm wrong. But I think I like HS56.
Apart from this lots of people use HS 50. I have been using HS 55 and HS 50 on my pics and they are great. I never tried to buy any other servos until I bought TRex and gave up my pic Pros. Now I think pics, and small type of helis like Hornet, Hammers are way back in history which I never will go back for life.

wildstallionuk rrKey Veteran ENGLAND, FOLKESTONE, KENT | I just ordered two of these matehttp://www.rchover.com/inc/pdetail?v=1&pid=10907 I will let you know how they perform. But IN THEORY! they should perform better than either the HS-56 or HS-50. i hope I made a good choice. Of couse the specs could be an exagerationCheck out the items I have for sale in the clasifieds including a CSM 420

pavehawk00 rrNovice Las Vegas,NV | I tell you. Has many times that I have crashed never stripped the gears in the mpi and or broke the case apart. I did get a hold of hitic and they did send me some center shafts for there hs50s. Thanks hitic if you are looking. Though I'm not an expert by any means but I think that the MPI servos are the ones for me right now. I would recommend them to any one.I can't fly, but when I do, I fall like a rock

YeTun rrApprentice Asmara, Eritrea | I like HS56 better. Because it is a little stronger than 6g. 6g works very well as well. But the thing I don't like is around the end of a battery charge, 6g slows down in response very obviously. Let's say you turn (yaw) right, the servo does not response right away, it only does in half a second, starting very slowly and accelerated towards the end of your servo throw. I may be wrong with the servo, because it can be also because of the gyro (gy240). But the same gyro when I put HS56 does not do that. Does it give you clearer difference? Good luck.

YeTun rrApprentice Asmara, Eritrea | Both 6g Align, HS50, and HS56 work well to an extend. But I would say I like HS56 better (as a sport)
