If RR Policy is to not delete stuff , where has ...
My response to policy was regarding every day interaction with member's postings. Members that choose not to respect policy and continue to fight RR will end up eventually getting deleted.

How can Janek continue to not respect policy if he doesn't post and you have suspended his account ??

Just trying to figure out what he needs to be able to answer questions about his product here.
RR encourages post-sale tech support from ALL. Vendor or Rep pre-sale marketing posts have always been highly restricted.
what constitutes a individual as being a vendor?
If one financially benefits from the conversation (parts or cash). Why are you so disingenuous with RR here? Your words: "his product".

Whats the point. RR will always move forward and clean things up. If it hurts to be deleted then that's the point.

The point is that you are hurting yourself and the users of RR by deleting genuine contributing posts to many topics. RR is diminishing slowly by the fact that you are removing by deletion the value that the forum provides. That value being the large database of topic replies that users can search.

So who gives a toss about the members? The fact the members don't find the answer they want doesn't bother RR, we'll just close the whole topic. One thing is sure, Mark's pocket comes before the members needs for information.
This is BS. The info was not removed, just closed to keep track of the spammers.
if he sells a few and those people start talking about them , and someone else says "hey, where can i get one of those?" We arent allowed to say where they came from ????
You are wasting time here with your ever changing story. Whats up with the idea of "Mutual Respect". You, the scale guy and a few other MA related individuals are a royal pain in the ass. Policy is being disrespected and it's time to get a grip.

I have heard this a million times and I still come to the same conclusion. If you fight hard enough then you WILL get deleted.
What happens to everyone else?? they lose as well. ...

How is it that my posts get deleted sometimes when babies cry, but yet a non paying vendor can get free advertising that is strickly againts RR policy and all that happens is the topic is closed... Wouldn't deleting the vendors post be more of a business move, considering that he is the one that is taking money from your pocket.
It's closed to keep track of the spammers. Nobody loses. Nothing is deleted. Create another topic and continue the conversation.

To quote a couple verses from a 1987 song by Tiffany:
Children behave,
That's what they say when we're together,
And watch how you play,
They don't understand,......

...Look at the way,
We gotta hide what we're doin'.
'Cause what would they say,
If they ever knew and so we're,...
Guys, this has become comical.

Pathogens:

You remember.....

...and this has become comical. Grown men (presumably) babbling about how much they can't stand RR, yet they stay to babble another day.

its a shame it has all come to this when people were only trying to further the hobby and is getting pressure from the big shots.... reminds me of the tucker automobile........
It's simple. Respect policy or go away. You and the others mentioned clearly want to do away with policy. It is not going to work.

RR is fed up with the repeated policy challenges from the same few MA centric individuals. The pattern is clear and it must stop. Until company owners get the picture, all bets are off.

you were the only one babbling about stuff that had nothing to do with the topic at hand
On the contrary. My statement had everything to do with the topic. You people are griping and babbling (whatever words you choose to you) about your lack of respect, frustration with and agreement of RR policy, and how it loathes you so.

It has been suggested several times from others.....if you don't like the policy, leave. Why stay somewhere you do not have a comfort level?

This is not only true of RR, but in many facets of life. Some places are harder to leave than others (granted), but RR is so easy leave.

Best Regards, Dario

cool, then he is fine since he doesnt own a company and works out of his garage....... and doesnt represent MA .....
How would RR moderate the shades of marketing grey that you are explaining? It's impossible. RR offers extremely cost effective marketing mechanisms. The only problem is that it is not for free and the policy that supports it applies to all.

What’s annoying is that mutual respect is being ignored here.

The bottom line is that policy has to be respected or this place falls apart.

The member closed his own post. Looks like he re-asked the question in the MA forum. RRv2 will provide an indication on who closed the topic.

so in RR V2 if you put in who closed the post
it should stop this kind of speculation

Question for Mark
You started this thread for people to complain about RR policy. Some 300 posts later and people are still complaining, offering constructive critism etc. , and some are making valid (in my point of view) points.

All I have heard from you is that people need to respect RR policy and especially those few (asses as you call them ) MA guys.

I guess my real question is: does this thread change anything? will any of the opinions expressed here have any say in future RR policy or is this thread just a place to dump all complaints and not get resolution to the persons issues.

I am not always in agreement with what Mark determines as best for the forum...however I will award full Marks (gotta love it ) to him for offering this thread...many people (me included) have been trying to make our feelings known ...often resulting in threats of expulsion or worse....this thread is Mark's way of listening and responding to RR members ...Good for you Mark !!
