Looking for help with gyro sense and servo position. Let me explain.

I can get my MS-44 gyro to work properly with my Hitec HS-55 only when the gyro is turned upside down. That's how you're supposed to change the "sense" of this particular gyro.

I don't want to change the position of the gyro if at all possible and am hoping by changing the direction of the servo I can accomplish the same thing. Changing the servo channel to "reverse" does not do it. So, by changing direction I mean flipping the servo so the control horn position is changed 180 degrees. Hope that makes sense.

Without taking the servo off and having to reroute the servo wires can anyone tell me if this will work before I attempt it? Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well. Still trying to get a grip on these heading hold gyros.

Thanks everyone, Shayne

Based on your descripiton, inverting the servo or mounting it so the horn is on the opposite side sounds like it would work.

Thanks Rob. I thought it might but didn't want to proceed with the work until I had another opinion. Not that I'll hold you to it. lol

Thanks, Shayne
