When setting the limits on a 601 is okay to have 92 and 92 .
I am using a 17 mm horn.

Or should I drop down a hole to go over 100 to say 115 and 115.

That should be fine, both mine are in the upper 80's. The 601 seems to be rather tolerant of less than perfect mechnical setups. Thats why the dual limits are there.

I read on jk web site that under 100 % will shorten the servo life.

I've seen it stated both to be above and below 100%. My tail setup is VERY bind free so I take advantage of it by staying in the outer holes and get a slightly faster tail responce to servo movement, thus needing to be under 100% travel limits.
