This is the motor I own a 16/15/3 with wire leads

Motor that is for sale 16/15/5 without wire leads

Thanks for your help.

I have a 16/15/4. It does not have leads, looks like the 16/15/5 in your second pic.

16/15/3
16/15/4.
16/15/5

What do these numbers mean, is there a good reference book on motors?

Just so you know, when I looked at the pictures above. I actually think could tell witch one had the leads and witch one didn't. But I'd feel better getting a second opinion also.

Mega Motor Leads...
I was told by Mega USA that the newest of their motors has the pigtail wires and not the lugs. He told me that they haven't used the lugs in at least a year or so..

many thanks hpilotrc,

To answer NewRCHeliPilot question.

The difference is in the amount of turns on the motor. The more turns the motor has the higer the KV rating. In other words you get more from a HV setup with a high KV motor? Im still learning too. So anyone feel free to correct me.

I'm all about learning that's way I ask for a good reference book on the subject. Then some day when I'm old and gray I can contribute my vast knowledge.

I got a reply from AlleRC they havnt seen any Mega motors with the lugs or solder tabs whatever there called. They must be older versions. The new ones come with wires as far as I have been told by several people so far.
