DOKEY rrProfessor Northamptonshire UK | A few more bits of info may help to get the answer you are after, i.e.Headspeed ?gyro ? tail servo ? tailservo arm length ? tali blades ? If you are using the CSM 560 that I see in your profile then 45 setting is way too low, should be heading nearer and around 100. Ryan.

![]() rrKey Veteran Saddleworth near Manchester (UK) | Using 100% is NOT a good idea IMHO as it will shorten the life of the tail servo as it will be working VERY hard all the time.I'm at about 80% on my 401/9253 combo on the R 90 at about 1650 on the head. Works well for me.

ShempHoward rrKey Veteran San Francisco, Ca - too many beggars + bad drivers | Unless someone has the exact same Radio and Heli with the exact same set up and accessories as you they cannot give you a "right" gain setting.I fly a JR500T with an Airtronics 94742 and RD6000 and my gain setting is -40 to -45 depending on the weather. This bears no relevance to your situation.Perhaps cranking the gain up until the tail wags and then reducing it until it is stationary might solve your problem.

DOKEY rrProfessor Northamptonshire UK | AlanR8, CSM gyros can not be compared to Futaba gyros, they need to be higher up to get the best from them.Ryan.

![]() rrMaster Cookeville, TN | I'm running a Stylus with 560's and the gain are in the 70-80% range. That being said I have tweaked the 560's a lot with my PC to get them where I want them. The RD will be similar.I would probably start with Russ Deakins Raptor settings for the gyro and make sure the Quick trim is less than +/- 10%. In fact, what I do on mine is to set the Quick trim to zero with the PC and mechanically trim the tail to keep the nose straight. There is no drift so far. TM
