brooksnb rrKey Veteran Sussex , New Brunswick , Canada | I have been struggling to learn how to fly a heli....I have real flight G2 and a nexus 30 as well a Vigor 60 STD. I have hovered both helis ...in fact lots of times but not able to fly yet...I have come to the conclusion that it is simply because I don't want to crash the expensive Vigor...because I can't afford the repair costs at this time...and with the Nexus ...a crash means I need to look for nearly obsolete parts to fix it.
My Gallery has the pics ...what do you think ?? Get a Raptor and learn to fly it...or shelve the helis I have untill I can again afford the Vigor crash costs if / when I crash...(so far not a crash...too damn scared to fly it ...let alone crash it)...

zoom boy rrKey Veteran N.E. Lincolnshire UK | Get a Sceadu evo50, you will not regret it, many are going from the raptor to the evo, and the parts cost is very comparable

BarracudaHockey rrMaster Jacksonville FL | Don't give up on the Nexus, Tower still stocks parts for it. Fly it till your comfortable. I still have 2 of them that fly. I went with a Raptor 50 though and never looked back.Andy

sharam rrElite Veteran Northern California - Fly at Morgan Hill Field | Fly the heck out of the Nexus. I learned on that heli and as someone else said, Tower has parts.Take the money you were going to spend on another heli and buy a sim - preferably the Reflex XTR.

Leif rrElite Veteran USA | Either route will work, and will get you moving forward again. Just keep in mind that used helis rarely get as much as 50% of retail value unless they have a lot of hop-up parts or are essentially new. There is just too much possibility for hidden damage or problems. That said, I recommend you dust off the Nexus, take it out and fly. Most of the items that break easily during crashes are still available from Tower, and many of the more durable parts can be found from past Nexus owners. If you need specific parts, just put a post here on RunRyder, since many people (myself included) have a collection of various Nexus parts that they would sell cheap. Leif

Syclic rrApprentice Northern Hemisphere Ont. | I noticed that you are from the Maritimes in Canada. You have a great mail order dealer close by in PEI (Great Hobbies). I have purchased a number of my Century heli's from them. They also seem to have no problems supplying me with parts. So I would suggest the great but inexpensive Hawk Sport or if you want a 50 go with the Raven 50 or Falcon 50. Albert
