This new upgrade comes with a smaller diameter flybar rod. I tried to use one of my originals but the ID of the holder's bearings is too small. Therefore, I guess Align has to a) offer different bearings or b) offer different replacement flybars. I wonder if the newer V2 version has the thinner flybars?
Here's the part I'm describing:

I know the zap or zoom has a thinner fly bar, if you can get your hands on one it might just fit.

I've tried the zoom's flybar for this arrangement before, it's too small. The size is about 1.84mm.That's mean slop is occured. The size of flybar comes with seesaw is 2.00mm. The size of stock flybar is about 2.07mm. You may use sand paper to re-size the stock one!

from experience...
you'll need a serious sandpaper to widdle away at it quickly.. as in about 15 minutes of hardcore sanding... try a 60-80 grit to really get at it... had same prob fitting the stock flybar to MH flybar kit bearings, again, align bar too fat to fit any standard bearings, must be seriously sanded... especially at its tips-- the flybar is usually a weebit thinner in the middle area vs the ends near the threads. hope that helps.

it CAN be sanded to fit. i speak from experience here. again, use the 60 grit if you don't want to be sanding at it for 45 minutes.

Hi willy,
Your design is great! But you still have to sand down the stock flybar to fit the bearing.

For me it's the weak plastic of the stock seesaw that is the problem, not the small amount of play without bearings. I got tired of taking the head off/apart to get to it. Hopefully the aluminum version is going to be less prone to break.

crashed mine last week and the seesaw hub bloke. When the flybar bends it cracks the hub at the start of where the flybar passes through.

Sparkhead,

Are you telling us the upgraded Align bling don't work well as expected?

Sorry about the mix up, I was talking about the plastic one. I now have replaced it with the CNC'd one but haven't crashed it again since so I cant tell you if it is crash resistant or not.
