I just purchased a Rebel XT and have been trying to get in touch with Jose F. Velez @ SkyEye Corporation @ 781-237-6806, as well as sending e-mails.... No responce for over a week....any one have any help???

I also want trigger the camera w/o the servo on the shutter.... Read the post on the Jomar Opti-Iso switch.....So this is an 1/8" plug that is wired to a micro switch and then activated by a mini servo, or wired directly to the reciever? Where do I get one?

Thanks guys.....

Angelos also makes a nice dual switch as well. Quite small and light.

Dakine,
Any reason for the Dual over the single? I know the dual works as a couple of the other members have them and use them. But, some have also recommended the single. Is their additional functionality in the dual? Thanks...I will be ordering one today...then just need to find some info on the correct plug for the camera.

Think the reason dual switch is that one switch arms the camer and focuses it (when you push the shutter down half way) and the second is to actually release the shutter....Not for sure on this, just what I am putting together.....

Thanks
