Q1. Having set my Thr. Hold on the WC11 does this condition only allow you to see the 'hold' parameters on screen?. To try and make my queery clearer, if I go to Thr. Hold and then want to adjust idle up one pitch curve for example, I can not see any other screen other than the throttle hold screen. This means either I make changes in the idle up screens (thr hld off) or I stop the heli every time which is the safer option. Hope you get my gist. I think I must be doing something wrong

Q2. With one of my helis when going for an auto for some reason when I hit the Thr. Hold the GV1 stays engaged any ideas. I cant seem to find any difference between the setting in this heli and the others which work fine. Any ideas guys I would be grateful. The ans is probably staring me in the face

cheers

Q1 yes once hold is on you can only adjust those relevant settings. To change ID1 when on the ground go to CHD bottom right of screen and activate, being careful it works when you flick to ID1. Then deactivate after going back to normal to fly again, it wont allow you to come out of CHD till you go back to normal mode so thats one less worry.

Q2 Set the StSwch setting on the GV-1, this means when the hold button is thrown it will allow it to turn GV-1 off. Also means when the throttle is lowered to lower than 25% the gv-1 will turn off too, handy for landing. Read the gv-1 manual for the stsw option and setting.

Hope that helps

t/ hold setting
If you would like to set the t/hold position like a trim adj. push the vol. position on the hold screen, assign a switch; I use l/dial, and then +0r - to turn right or left to use it as a fine tune dial. I put the machine on the bench, set the dial to be at the straight up pos. then set the hold to where you normally have it and then turn the dial right or left to see the range. It makes it nice to be able to tweak it just right for the day's air. I always check it before I take off to get a low reliable idle for auto practice. It is wise to do the close set up the same on all the models or sometime you might hit the t/h and shut off the motor.

Thanks guys this really helped. I was getting Thr Hold mixed up with Cond. Hold soon as you pointed me in the right direction it bacame obvious, now I can set the other parameters easily.

Yep I will try the hold setting the way you suggest. I have usually set it a a reasonable level so my engines have never stalled out as my clutches do release and run free, but I can see the advantage.

Thanks again for the help it was much appreciated

regards to you both
