Hi guys,

I have just put a Hyperion 6 channel receiver in my Trex. The Hyperion is the 36 MHz version of the Berg.

I was a little concerned to see the servos go to what looked like full deflection for a second or so when I plugged the battery in.

Is this normal??? and if so has anyone ever stripped any gears in doing so?

It talks about the receiver picking up the signiture of my Tx at start up so I assume that this is what it is doing.

My berg5 does that too- all my servos go full negative collective, then back to neutral.

The only 'standard' abberant behaviour is when you're in jumper program mode (berg5) where channel 1 will 'wag' to tell you it's done programming. Not sure if the Berg6 has the same programming mode tho-

As long as you don't unplug the power before it goes back to neutral you'll be fine-

There are a lot of us that fly with the berg 6 on 72mhz. and none of them deflect the servos.

Thanks guys, I will have to go direct to the company I suppose. I get 2 of the CCPM servos full negative and the other to full positive. Looks pretty full on when it happens to. If it does it and it only goes to the ATV end points I wouldn't mind but I cant tell if it is going that little bit further.
