Greetings,

Call it 3D or call it aerobatics it is still some great flying. I did not know that there were any helis that could do that much inverted flying at all. The most I have seen have just be stright forward loops and rolls. I have seen a stall turn from time to time.

Thanks for the footage, it was fun to watch.

This is the closest to Full-Scale 3D I've seen , thanks for the vid. Somebody should build a Full-Scale Fury.

He's a german showmaster and very successful at that who has come up with a lot of stupid things, including the Wok (chinese cooking plate) world championship in a bobsled ice track and has done just about everything which can get you hurt - boxing, motocross, paragliding and so on

EDIT: Seems like I have misread your question. The copilot is the one I'm talking about...

If this is 3D, then I guess every rc modeller can do 3D.
Why is everyone out there to bust my balls, come on guys the title NOW says aerobatics, the whole point was to watch the damn video, not to argue whether it is 3d or not..... stop trying to pick fights

don't read anything in to any ones comments here
some posters arent as diplomatic in there statements
some kinda cold and to the point like do a search on the topic
if you take there comment to heart you will only frustrate yourself
and no one else This is a open forum and there are many ten and
fourteen year old here. Some here like to disagree but that's life
this is a great forum always take all comments with a grain of salt

thanks Ted, I am not really new here, i just do more reading than posting, and yes I have seen that there are 14 yo's here, myself being 22, I can ignore ignorance, but I just thought I might post something that will stop the ignorance in my post. I felt that there was no argument against my above post. But again thank you for stepping and taking the time point that out and welcome me to the forum! I hope you for one enjoyed the video

Rander...your post is right on...I think most if not all enjoyed the video a lot and let me tell you something:
If this is 3D, then I guess every rc modeller can do 3D.
If there was 3D for full scale, this would be it. You would have to be a fool to think a full size can do what a model can... You can't compare the capabilities of a full size aircraft and a model....That's why the topic said FULL SIZE 3D!!!

Cool, nice of you to police us on your perspective or "correct" terminology. Now if you want to have an argument about the term 3d start a thread. No one is here to argue with you. We dont car what you call it, it's still a nice video of some abnormal flying of Full Scale heli's.

Also these are my last words to you Coma as I will not post anymore in this thread. Look at these links,

http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=3-D

http://www.answers.com/topic/3-d

http://www.answers.com/topic/dimension

3d is a measure of space and its representation for human understanding, technically anyone who fly's a helicopter can "3d" like you said, however the purpose of this thread was not to decieve the people viewing it. It demonstrates above and beyond skill from a pilot of a real helicopter. 3d IS loops and rolls, "techinically speaking." Until there is a clear distinction of your false represtantions and you back your posts up with factual information your just represent yourself as annoying, in this thread. I think i can safely say that no one agrees with the content of your posts.

Again, this is the last time I will post in this thread... becuase its just a video and not a worth while conversation, if you want to argue 3d there is already an open thread about this video with argument about it, go post there.

http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t167557p1/ --- there you go argue away. you should partner up with zoom and beat them all up

Rob

3D............aerobatics, blah blah.

Nice post
Nice flying.

I enjoyed the video. Since I'm not being marked on this, political correctness.

Mind you maybe it should be called The TV Guy's Lunch ! .. a re-run.
