As long as you don't tell your heli it's burning plank fuel, you should be ok.

If it's CoolPower, the 15% Heli, Plane and 4-stroke are all the same fuel.
Same with Wildcat 15% Synth Heli, plane and 4 stroke.

Castor
From my personal experience make sure the airplane fuel has little to no castor oil in it, It gummed up my TT39 when I was first learning how to fly and I could only afford airplane fuel at the time. Took a couple of tanks of synthetic fuel to clear out the motor for it to run right again.

This is all assuming you have been running 15% all along.

If you've been running 30%, it's best not to go down in Nitro once the engine is broken in on 30%.

You can go up, but not really down...for what I've always read and heard.

I don't imagine that much would come from one gallon tho.

If you use Wildcat non-heli fuel make sure it's the 2&4 stroke blend. Most of the other blends have some castor oil which you don't want to run in a heli. Any questions check out the fuel mfg's site for info.

Never had a problem with going up or down in Nitro content. You will need to re-tune of course but changing Nitro content either way is OK with current engines.
